Lottie Moon Christmas Offering Emphasis
What is God Calling You to Give?
Every year, God challenges people all over the United States to give to the Lottie Moon Christmas offering in support of international missions. Every year, we at Immanuel have been faithful to give as God leads, and this year should be no different. As we approach this year's offering, please pray that God would move you to be generous and give accordingly. God has blessed us so very much with all that we have. The most important blessing is his gift of Jesus Christ. By giving to the Lottie Moon Christmas offering we are enabling missionaries, including some that have come from our own membership, to reach the lost people groups of the world with the love of Jesus Christ. Food Drive
Our Evangelism Committee is sponsoring a food drive to benefit the Colonial Heights Food Pantry between now and January 1, 2012. During this season of giving and family, take a moment to pick up some extra food for our community families that are in need. Whether you make a special trip to specifically get food for the food pantry or you just pick up a couple extra canned goods during your regular grocery trip, please consider bringing in some food for those in need during this season. You can place your donations in the white basket in the Atrium.
