Rev. Steve Lalk

After surrendering to God’s calling in 1983 Pastor Steve began his schooling at Liberty University in 1984 after his graduation in 1989 he was united in marriage to his wife Sharon. Through the years God blessed them with two beautiful girls Emily and Lauren. In his early ministry Pastor Steve served as Minister of Youth and Music. In 1996 pastor Steve went to Liberty Baptist Seminary to graduate with a Masters of Art in Religion and Master of Divinity in 1999. Since that time, he has Senior pastored in NC, and VA. He has ministered in the North Chesterfield area for the last 14 years before coming to Immanuel in April 2017. He enjoys using his musical talent and passion of preaching for the glory of God.

Brent Beverly

Brent accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at 9 years old. When he was 16, he surrendered to God’s call on his life to youth ministry. Brent graduated from Liberty University in 2013 with a Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies and a minor in Youth Ministries. He has served the Lord in a variety of churches, big and small, and is excited to be serving at Immanuel and using the gifts and talents that God has given him. Brent’s passion is to see students walking with Christ and fulfilling the awesome plan that He has for their lives.


Music Pastor

Rev. Kenny Carter

Rev. Carter has served in churches for over 46 years as a Minister of Music and Youth, Minister of Music and Church Growth, or Minister of Music and Associate Pastor. Immanuel called him to begin serving in August 2015. He and his wife Helen, have two daughters, Kimberly and Debbie.
